SOLAR PANEL PROTECTION
The problem
Birds nesting under solar panels can cause damage
Solar panels provide an ideal sheltered space for birds and other pests to nest and roost. The gap beneath solar panels offers protection from weather and predators, but this can lead to problems including nesting materials, droppings, blocked drainage and potential damage to your solar investment.
Our solar panel protection products provide an effective, long-lasting solution to prevent birds and unwanted pests accessing the area beneath solar panels while maintaining the appearance and performance of your solar installation.
The solution
Protect Solar Panels from Birds, Nesting and Pest Damage
The Clip-and-Mesh system is a popular solar panel bird-proofing solution that secures protective mesh around the edge of the solar panel array.
The system uses specially designed clips that attach to the solar panel frames without damaging the panels. A durable mesh barrier then prevents birds and pests from gaining access underneath.

- UV-resistant clips designed to protect panel surfaces
- Strong PVC-coated galvanised steel mesh
- Available in different kit sizes
- Suitable for domestic and commercial solar installations
The mesh system can be adapted to different solar panel layouts, providing reliable exclusion around the perimeter of the array.
